★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 1,056 reviews · 3 hours 30 minutes (approx.) · from $149

“Kind and informative guide who was also our driver. Waterfall was lovely. Could have used an additional 30mins to not feel rushed with the climb. We arrived as one of the first busses of the day, however, crowds increased significantly by the time we returned down from the falls and it took much longer to descend. Farm visit was nice, ours was cut short due to late arriving guests from the falls and unfortunately it impacted the rest of the group. Hosts were knowledgeable and friendly, driver was safe an conscientious.”

Snowmobiling Adventure on Langjokull Glacier from Gullfoss

8.Snowmobiling Adventure on Langjokull Glacier from Gullfoss

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 377 reviews · 4 hours (approx.) · from $265

Meet at Gullfoss, climb aboard a 4x4 monster ice truck, and ride to Langjokull Glacier for about an hour of guided snowmobiling. You get a winter suit, gloves, helmet, and safety briefing. Edgar is one guide praised for calm, helpful instruction. Expect stunning views, shared snowmobiles, and a large-group format.

“The less positive review is due to two factors: the employees approach their work with little enthusiasm (it's clear that what matters is the money) and they don't prioritize safety. The bus went off the road and almost overturned, frightening all the passengers. The driver had to get out to ask another bus for help to tow us with ropes. He didn't say a word to the passengers to calm them down, even when they were all at a 45º angle, which is regrettable. Another factor is the cleanliness; I'm sure this bus hasn't been cleaned inside for a year, just look at the photos I've posted.”

It is a shame that the baths couldn't be included within the price as this was an expensive additional cost making the whole trip quiet expensive. An enjoyable day though and I am glad I booked it.”
